for once, jeff is asleep on the couch while i sit here awake.
life is good. we are busy in a good way. we have several lovely trips visible on the horizon, which makes it all even better.
several celebrations lately, including work/personal for us both. one of the kids who had dropped out of school went back and we had a party. we successfully completed a $3 million-plus capital campaign and my work was a part of that. we are reminded daily why we chose each other *and keep choosing each other.*
lost returns january 31st. we may get a dog. our christmas tree is still up.
my aunt lolly died. well, lolly wasn't her real name - it was violet hasney, and she was my grandma jewett's sister. we saw her a lot growing up in florida where she would faithfully send all three of us birthday cards with a check for twenty dollars (cashable at the bank of dad). in the later years, as she started to fade, those cards would be addressed to any one of us on any given day - my favorite was when i was congratulated on my birthday in april, on anna's in september and on booth's in december. it makes me smile to tell that story.
many friends are having babies and i am happy. aunt sarah will spoil you all.
